Thandora, a 27-year-old Elephant has recently been relocated in a project initiated by Gondwana Game Reserve in the Garden Route alongside Bloemfontein zoo and Conservation Global. The project intends to release the elephant from captivity and free her into the wild. Thandora was based in the Bloemfontein Zoo and had been in captivity for 23 years.
